As their entire apartment block is caught up in the rapture of conception and offspring-rearing, brooding Swans Jill and Duke are haunted by memories of their previous attempts to hatch. Jill stays ever-vigilant, and on high alert for any sinister foe nearby, but she’s looking in all the wrong places.
